Linksys Broadband EtherFast Cable/DSL Router Review

Anyone who has Cable or DSL Internet access needs protection. You might think who would want to break into my PC? I don't keep any information on my PC that anyone would be interested in. We thought that too, until we got a few Trojan viruses and our cable access seemed to bog down at times. Stealing information is not the only reason that hackers break into computers. They will break in for mischievous reasons, such as plant a virus, there are ways to steal your bandwidth.

We heard about Linksys Broadband EtherFast Cable/DSL Router and decided to try it. We purchased the 1-port version, Built-in 10/100 Port, Supports up to 253 users. We have 2 computers connected to it and one cable modem. The setup was easy, documentation was good.

After the Linksys Etherfast Router was connected, we tested it by going to Shields Up and other firewall testers listed in our PcTest page. We passed with flying colors! We also tested it with BlackICE Defender which reported no attacks of any kind!

We are completely satisfied with the Linksys Broadband EtherFast Cable/DSL Router . We highly recommend it!
